www.CIBCaventura.com is a safe, secure environment where holders of a CIBC Aventura® Visa* Card can search and redeem for a variety of rewards with Aventura Points, or with their CIBC Aventura Card or a combination of both.
The CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre, including www.CIBCaventura.com, is operated for the benefit of CIBC Aventura Visa cardholders by an independent travel service agency, Merit Travel Group Inc., Registration Numbers: ON. 50010422, BC.33127/34799/34798, QC.7002238. (referred to in this privacy policy as "CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre").

Access to Information
The personal information provided to the CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre by CIBC Visa cardholders ("cardholders") who register on www.CIBCaventura.com is kept secure and confidential. Cardholder personal information is confidential and will not be disclosed or used except as permitted by the cardholder or as required or permitted by law. CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre will not disclose information about cardholders to third parties (either organizations or individuals) unless:
- The cardholder gives explicit and specific prior permission, or
- It is necessary to complete a purchase transaction such as booking travel, or
- The disclosure is required or permitted by law or by warrant authorized by a court of competent jurisdiction
The CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre will provide to CIBC information on your Aventura Points redeemed and statistical information about aggregated member usage that has been purged of all personal identifiers. How Information is Used
Information on cardholder activity on www.CIBCaventura.com is accumulated in order to respond to and process cardholder requests for rewards, travel products and services, continually improve the quality of the program and program offerings, and to improve the level of service that the CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre provides to cardholders. Information may also be used to provide promotional offers for other financial products that might be relevant to the cardholder as part of the service. You may at any time request not to receive such offers.

Sharing Information
When a cardholder redeems for or purchases travel products and services through www.CIBCaventura.com,
the CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre provides information about the cardholder to the airline, car rental agency, hotel, tour operator or any other involved third party to ensure the successful fulfillment of the cardholder's travel arrangements or reward redemptions. CIBC Aventura Rewards Centre does not sell or rent the personal information of cardholders to anyone.
